Description: Steel Fury's debut album, Lesser of Two Evils, was released in 1988 --- which was a bad time for metal. For starters, the "80s" were winding down, and the media was focusing on "Seattle Sound" acts like Nirvanna, Pearl Jam, etc. To make matters worse, record stores were deleting all vinyl and shipping it back to the distributors --- a situation which caused most of the independent distributors of the era to go out of business. Within a few months of the release of this album in 1988 more that 95% of the distributors carry New Renaissanace Records products had gone out of business. As a result, the first pressing of this CD is very, very, very rare --- and most of the first pressings that exist were given away as promotional copies (and have "drill-holes" or "cut-corners").
Manufacturing Information: 1170 numbered tray cards were given to the manufacturer on June 21, 2006 and 1000 CDs were ordered. (Usually there will be an over-run, and a little over 1000 CDs will be made. Some may be destroyed in the manufacturing process.) There will only be 1 pressing!
Pre-orders. New Renaissance is currently taking pre-orders on this upcoming release and will give the lowest available CDs to those persons who pay first. The first hundred (or so) people to purchase these CDs will be listed on this page once the CDs are shipped.
